How can we help you?

We can work with you to:
  1. Get pre-approved for your financing. This is step one for a reason! You need to know what your budget is and what you can afford. This knowledge alone takes a great deal of the stress out of the journey. We have the resources to help you find a great mortgage lender.
  2. Find and purchase the land. I am licensed Realtor with RE/MAX Results in Minnesota and Wisconsin with 20+ years of experience. I will gladly work with you to help you find your building site.   3. Plan the home. Along with Golden Eagle Log Homes, we will help you design your custom home. Whether you start with one of Golden Eagle Log Homes' stock plans and we tailor it for you or plan a custom home designed from scratch, we have the experience and creativity to work with you until it’s right. Michael Westberg and/or I will be your Live the Dream Team contact as you plan your home.
  4. Do a cost estimate. Much of your new construction project can be pre-bid so that you have a much closer idea of what your end cost will be. We have a list of great subs from whom to get preliminary bids.

    Steps 2, 3 and 4 all need to be done almost simultaneously. It’s like putting a puzzle together! For example, what you pay for your land and what it will cost to improve it will impact what you can spend on the house itself.

  6. Select a builder.
  7. Finalize and total your bids and contract with your builder.
  8. Finalize your construction and/or mortgage loan.
  9. Be a constant resource as your home is built.
